She lived with her three siblings. After the age of 6 Thompson relocated to Australia along with her parents. Following graduation from high school, and a trip around the world for five years, Thompson made her way to New York City to pursue modeling. After a successful career in modeling, Thompson moved into acting. She began her acting career after studying at Strasberg Studio, Herbert Berghof Studios and at the Strasberg Studio. From doing voice work as an actor in the beginning to being a successful actress on her own she's come a long way. She is a catalyst for many young potential actors to join the entertainment business through her distinct voice and impressive acting skills. She has two children and is a mother who has been married twice. Andrea Thompson broke through as an actor in the 1987 film "Wall Street". Then, she made an part in an episode of Monsters. The actress was portrayed in the 1989 episode in the role of Genele Erikson, who was a character from the soap opera "Falcon Crest". Later, in 1989 she was cast in the role of Nurse Helen Caldwell. With John Candy, Emma Samms Mariel Hemingway and Raymond Burr in lead roles the film did not do very well at the American box offices. The year 1992 was the first time she was offered an appearance as a guest star in the drama-series Civil Wars. The actress joined 'Babylon 5'two years later as Talia who was a psychic. In season two it was her turn to leave the show. Andrea Thompson was born in Dayton in Ohio on 6 January 1960. Her family consisted of three sisters. There is no information on who her parents were. In 1987, the actress got married David Guc whom she then divorced in 1990. Thompson was blessed with an infant son Alec in the year 1992. The father of Alec is not known today. She was married in 1995. married actor Jerry Doyle. The couple has one son, named Al. They separated in 1997.
